Telugu actor Allu Sirish has turned 34 on Sunday. And while his fans are eager to know how he would be celebrating his birthday amig the ongoing pandemic, the actors said that he has never been into celebrating birthdays in a big way. He feels the need to be low-key due to the tough times everyone is going through.
“We are going through a pandemic this year and I don’t think it is in the best interest to have a big celebration. What I am doing, though, is that I will be releasing the first look of my upcoming movie. It’s been two years since I had a release and fans are looking forward to it. I felt the time is not right and we should stay indoors for some more time, till most of us are vaccinated and the cases come down. I was never big into birthdays but this year I felt the need to be low-key,” Sirish told IANS.
His brother and Telugu star Allu Arjun has penned a heartwarming birthday note calling him his biggest moral support. “Many many happy returns of the day to my sweetest brother who is my biggest moral support . Wish you a wonderful day and a lovely year to come. @allusirish,” Arjun wrote while posted a picture that features the two brothers twinning in ivory coloured sherwanis as they posed for the camera.
Sirish said that he will mark his special day, of course, but only among close friends. “In a private capacity, I am sending a few hampers from my side to some friends in the industry because we are unable to celebrate together, and I wanted to reach out to friends. Otherwise, no celebrations this year, no fans gathering, no events — nothing,” he said.
Sirish had been treating his fans and followers with pre-looks of the film but he announced the title on his birthday on Sunday. He redefined the meaning of love in the new posters as he announced the title of his upcoming film Prema Kadanta.
He also unveiled two new first looks of actress Anu Emmanuel and himself from the upcoming movie. The first poster has the two actors posing in front of the mirror as Sirish kisses Anu’s forehead. The second image features both of them holding each other. Prema Kadanta has been directed by Rakesh Sashii and is presented by his father Allu Aravind.
