A curtsy lunge is not a bad exercise. It offers several health benefits and helps to tone your lower body in a better way. The only thing is that it is not good for everyone. People who have body proportions, biomechanics, training age or programming issues may have difficulty in performing this exercise. Even if they did it correctly, there is a high risk of injury. This variation of lunges is considered biomechanically poor for some people, especially those who have stiff ankles, knees, hips or back. If you feel discomfort while doing this exercise, take a cue and do not force yourself to perform it.
