Common Eligibility Test: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Tuesday said that the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for government job aspirants will be held across the country from early 2022. He said that the CET will be conducted to screen and shortlist candidates for recruitment to Central government jobs.
The Union Minister also said that Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has bring out ‘Ease of Recruitment’ for young government job aspirants.
“CET is a path breaking reform. It is going to be a boon for young population, especially for those who are living in far flung and remote areas. The reform also reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s deep and sensitive concern for the youths and his keenness to provide level playing field and equal opportunity to youth across the country,” the minister was quoted as saying in a PIB release.
