Symptoms of COVID-19 in kids are similar to symptoms faced by adults. They may experience continuous coughs, loss or change to their sense of smell and taste, sore throat, congestion, or a runny nose and chills. In case of severe infection, kids may develop multisystem inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C), which causes severe inflammation in various organs of the body, including heart, lungs, blood vessels, kidneys, digestive system, brain, skin or eyes.
