Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein to go off-air on March 21 because of this SHOCKING reason? | Bollywood Life

It seems like Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein has failed to strike a chord with the audience unlike previous seasons. The spin-off, which had started airing on television right after it replaced Naagin 5, stars Harsh Rajput and Krishna Mukherjee in the lead. While Harsh plays the role of Bani and Veer’s son, Rehan, a hybrid of Naagin and Cheel while Krishna plays the role of Priya who is an angel. The two are romantically involved on the show. But the show has failed to garner TRP which is the reason why the makers have reportedly decided to pull the plug on the show. “The entire crew is aware of the development since a week now, but they were all waiting for an official confirmation. In current times, anything is possible. When a show does not connect with viewers, makers believe that it is better to pull the plug than give it time. It is very sad for the entire team, they are naturally upset,” a source was quoted as saying by TOI. Kuch Toh Hai had started airing on February 7 and it will now telecast its last episode on March 21. This is probably the first time that the supernatural series is wrapping up within two months of its inception. The show also stars Vaishali Thakkar, Resham Tipnis, Manini Mishra and Naveen Saini in important roles. Unlike the first three seasons, which were huge hits, the Naagin franchise had started witnessing a dip in its ratings from the fourth season. The fifth season had also ended quickly owing to the low TRPs.

‘That’s perhaps why they decided to explore another theme and hence went into the story of vampires. But this clearly didn’t click. We have to continue trying newer concepts. It is important to that we experiment with new things,” the source concluded.
