Leena Jumani, who plays the role of Tanushree in Kumkum Bhagya, has confirmed that she has called off her engagement with US-based businessman Rahul Sachdeva. The actress got engaged to Rahul in December 2014 after 3 years of dating and hoped they would get married. However, things didn’t go as planned and they decided to go separate ways.
“Yes, it’s true that Rahul and I are no longer with each other. We got engaged in 2014 and hoped to get married, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out. I would not like to get into what went wrong. I wish him well,” Leena told TOI.
Though Leena said that she is open to find a partner adding that she is not in a hurry to settle down any time soon. “It depends on the equation you have with your partner. If things go well, why will you not get married? If things are not meant to be; they don’t happen. Currently, I am open to finding someone, but I am not in a hurry. I would like to go out and meet someone only if he is worth it,” she said adding that she has no checklist of qualities of an ideal man.
Leena was recently seen in a web series called Paro. She also performed a special dance number choreographed by Ganesh Acharya in the web series, The Perfect Script. She had said that these dances, or negative roles, do not typecast actresses anymore, and that is a positive change.
