Today morning, the virtual hearing of actress Juhi Chawla’s suit against implementation of 5G in India was held. The Bhootnath star, who had approached Delhi High court against the setting up of new technology, had joined the proceedings. But soon, the matter was disrupted by an unknown person who started humming ‘Ghoonghat Ki Aad Se Dilbar Ka’ from Juhi’s film ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke‘. While the person was unidentified, Justice JR Midha reportedly said, ‘Please mute.’

As soon as the proceedings resumed another person crooned ‘Lal Lal Hoton Pe Gori Kiska Naam Hai’ and soon he was removed from the hearing. Post that, the court asked the court master to lock the meeting. Despite that, another person disrupted by singing ‘Meri Banno Ki Aayegi Baarat’. After this incident. the court said, “Please identify the person and issue a contempt notice” and also instructed the IT Department of the Delhi HC to identify the person and inform about him to Delhi police so that they can take necessary action.
On Monday, Juhi Chawla’s spokesperson has released an official statement, which reads, “The present suit is being instituted in order to seek a direction from this Hon’ble court to the arrayed Defendants, to certify to us and, therefore, to the public at large, that 5G technology is safe to humankind, man, woman, adult, child, infant, animals and every type of organisms, to flora, to fauna, and in support thereof, to produce their respective studies regarding RF radiation through mobile cell towers, and if not already conducted, to also conduct an efficient research, and without participation of private interest, and to subsequently furnish the report and declare whether or not the implementation of 5G in India would be safe, keeping un regards the health and safety of the present and future citizenry on India, including little children and infants, as well as infants of generations to come.”
