Naagin 5‘s exciting storyline has managed to impress its viewers. The show is known for its twists and turns. Bani, Veer and Jay’s story had been quite interesting and Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal have been fabulous in the show. As per the latest, Markaat has been killed by her own son Jay. Ravee Gupta who played Markaat says she is sad and disappointed that he role has ended in the show. In an interview with ETimes, Ravee Gupta spoke about her character, Markaat ending in Naagin 5. She said, “I am sad and it is a tad disappointing that my track in the show is over. But in television anything can happen. It is an unpredictable business. I was hoping that my track would last another two to three months, but unfortunately, that did not happen. While there is no clarity if Markaat will return on the show, as of now my track is over.”
Ravee Gupta has made her debut on television almost after 8 years and feels lucky to be a part of Naagin 5. She said, “It was a great opportunity to work in such a popular franchise. I am happy that the makers gave me a chance to play such a strong, negative role for my comeback. I am hoping that this will open up more opportunities and I will get to do such challenging roles in the future as well.” Recently, Arjit Taneja revealed that he would be joining Naagin 5. Arjit Taneja is known for his role as Purab in Kumkum Bhagya opposite Mrunal Thakur. He will be playing a pivotal cameo in the supernatural thriller and portray a character with grey shades. He spoke about being roped in for Naagin 5 in an interview with ETimes.
He said, “It feels amazing to be associated with a popular franchise like ‘Naagin’. Even though it is a cameo, I consider it to be a great break, as I will get to explore the supernatural genre for the first time. I am also working in a show produced by Ekta Kapoor three years after I exited ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. It feels like I am back home.”
