PUBG Mobile relaunch has been a long debatable topic since it got banned in the country. The developer of the game has been teasing the games poster and launches, but nothing solid has happened. The company accidentally dropped a teaser video of the Indian version of PUBG Mobile for a brief time period and then removed it. Followed by an updated thumbnail image on the official website, which was last updated with the Diwali Coming soon poster.
According to the thumbnail cover, the Indian version of the game will be renamed as Battlegrounds Mobile India. It is not a coincidence as Krafton.Inc, the company behind the game has also registered a domain with the name early last month.
A popular eSport website GemWire has also posted the same via its official Instagram handle. The post by the website also claims that the new post was a part of a video on Vimeo. The website also claims that Vimeo also has another video with the name India Recall Campaign Motion_v02.mp4 in the asset collection with the same thumb image.
All these new leaks and development suggest the launch of the game in India. However, as of now, there’s no official details has been provided by the company or even Indian government regarding the relaunch of the game with this new name.
Those unaware, Indian government banned around 118 apps and games on September 2, 2020 including PUBG Mobile. Soon after the ban, the developer of the game Krafton.Inc has been working on relaunching the game in India.
