NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme is all set to launch the Realme 8 5G smartphone in Thailand. The company has confirmed that it will launch the device on April 21. However, ahead of the official launch the company has teased some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
Realme Thailand has shared a teaser video of the phone on its social media channels. The teaser shared revealed that the smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch punch-hole display and will offer a 90Hz refresh rate.
The teaser also revealed that the SIM card tray will be located on the left side of the smartphone.
Another teaser of the Relame 8 5G confirms that it will be 8.5mm thin and will weigh 185 grams.
The smartphone will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor placed on the right side and a 3.5mm audio jack placed at the bottom.
The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will house a 5000mAh battery.
The smartphone will be powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor and will come in Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue colour options.
Realme 8 5G was also spotted on Google Play console listing recently which revealed that the smartphone will run Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of realme UI.
The smartphone is also said to sport a triple rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 2MP B&W and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front you will get an 8MP selfie sensor.
Realme is also expected to launch the same smartphone in India soon. Recently, Flipkart teased the launch of Realme 8 5G in India but the company has not yet confirmed any launch date.
