Realme next 5G phone with MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset teased on Flipkart – Times of India

Smartphone brand Realme is gearing up to launch another 5G phone in India. The company has teased the launch of its new 5G series phone on e-commerce site Flipkart. The Flipkart page reveals that the upcoming Realme mobile will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset.
This comes a day after MediaTek launched its Dimensity 700 5G chipset in India. The company also announced that Realme will be the first smartphone brand to offer MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G powered devices.
While the Flipkart page does not reveal the name of the upcoming device, it gives a glimpse of the existing 5G phone portfolio of Realme. These include the Realme X50 Pro 5G, Realme X7 Pro 5G, Realme X7 5G and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.

Flipkart webpage also states that the name of Realme’s next 5G phone will be revealed on April 16. Realme has announced to launch the 5G models of Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro in India on April 22. It is speculated that the 5G smartphones teased on Flipkart could be the Realme 8 5G and Realme 8 Pro 5G.
As far as the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G is concerned, it is a 7nm SoC that combines two Arm Cortex-A76 ‘Big’ cores in its octa-core CPU operating up to a speed of 2.2GHz and 5G-CA (2CC). The new 5G chipset comes with connectivity features like 5G carrier aggregation (2CC 5G-CA) and dual 5G SIM along with the 5G-exclusive voice-over new radio (VoNR) services.
