Tom Holland opens up on whether Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield will make an appearance in MCU’s Spider-Man | Bollywood Life

Spiderman is one of the most celebrated franchise films portrayed by three different actors namely, Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. And every actor who has portrayed Spider-Man has a separate fanbase. Now, there were reports that the three actors would be next seen together in the next franchise film of Tom Holland starrer Spider-Man for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Naturally, seeing the three Spider-Man will create a lot of buzz. And now, Tom has reacted to the reports of the same. For the universe, there are rumours doing the rounds in the world of entertainment that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will be a part of MCU’s next Spider-Man film as a part of a ‘multi-verse’ plotline. When asked Tom Holland was asked about this theory on Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, the actor said, “Beats me, I don’t know. If they are, they never told me yet. That would be something that Marvel would do. I watch the film and be like, ‘So that’s who that tennis ball was!'” When asked whether he has met any of either Spider-Mans in real life he revealed that he had met the Social Network actor at BAFTAs after Home Coming had released. Talking about Tobey Maguire, Tom said, “I’ve bumped into Tobey a few times at different parties in LA. He was really nice. They seem to be lovely, really nice people. I hope they enjoy our movies. I hope they enjoy our Spider-Man’s.” On the other hand, Tom revealed that he has not had a chance to meet Kristen Dunst. Apart from Tom Holland, Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man 3 will also star Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marissa Tomei, and Tony Revolori all of whom are reprising their roles for earlier Spider-Man films. As per the latest reports, Benedict Cumberbatch who plays Doctor Strange in MCU will make an appearance in the third franchise film.
